With the opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are actively seeking motivated professionals to join our growing MRO family. We are currently looking for an Accountant to support our finance operations in the Dominican Republic.

YOUR TASKS

  • Perform daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Support tax accounting and preparation of reports required by local authorities.
  • Assist in payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and support Group reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Cooperate with external accountants, auditors, tax, and payroll consultants.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
  • Assist with audits and various finance-related projects and ad-hoc tasks.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations in the Dominican Republic.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent Spanish. English is an advantage, but what we consider essential is a genuine willingness to learn and improve it. Basic English training can be provided.
  • Good computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics (Navision)/Business Central and IFRS reporting is considered an advantage.
