We are looking for a Deputy Head of Accounting to join our FL TECHNICS Group Accounting & Reporting team based in Vilnius.
YOUR TASKS:
- Handling complex period‑end closing operations;
- Monitoring and controlling accounting data to ensure the accuracy and quality of information;
- Preparing tax declarations;
- Preparing the Group reporting package and Financial Statements for certain subsidiary companies;
- Submitting reports to the Statistics Department;
- Organizing and overseeing the accounting processes of subsidiary companies;
- Participating in accounting‑related projects (collaborating with international consultants on tax and accounting questions, taking part in accounting system development project and digitalization initiatives).
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- A degree in accounting;
- Experience of at least 3 years working as a Deputy Chief Accountant, small company Chief Accountant, Senior General Accountant / Accounting Controller in a large organization;
- Experience in complex accounting, period‑end closing, tax filings and reporting tasks;
- Strong understanding of financial accounting (good knowledge of IFRS is an advantage) and the ability to prepare financial statements;
- Ability to read and analyze tax regulations and work professionally with tax consultants locally and abroad;
- Knowledge of Business Central (Navision) is an advantage, along with very strong MS Excel skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
- Strong proficiency in English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken).
