DIRECTOR OF QUALITY & SAFETY (AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE REPAIR STATION). Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (the)

With the imminent opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join our innovative multibillion MRO family. The ideal candidates will be key contributors to our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of our operations in the Dominican Republic.

DIRECTOR OF QUALITY & SAFETY (AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE REPAIR STATION)
YOUR TASKS:
- Development of procedures and manuals necessary to obtain Repair Station approvals (IDAC and FAA Part-145),
- Implementation and management of Quality Assurance (regulatory compliance) system,
- Implementation and management of effective Safety Management System.
WHAT YOU SHOUD BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or additional five (5) years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.),
- Aircraft maintenance technician license (FAA or IDAC A&P mechanic certificate or equivalent),
- At least seven (7) years experience in similar role,
- Experience in heavy maintenance of commercial jets,
- Excellent understanding of aviation regulations and industry standards related to quality, safety, and compliance in aircraft maintenance,
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills,
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish languages,
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications),
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work flexibly and autonomously.
