Head of Legal (Based in Indonesia). Jakarta, Indonesia

ABOUT COMPANY:

FL Technics is a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, delivering integrated aviation support solutions to customers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, and people-oriented Head of Legal, Indonesia to lead the legal function of our Indonesian business.

Reporting to the local CEO with a dotted line to Group Head of Legal, this senior role offers real visibility and impact — shaping legal support, strengthening governance, and contributing to business growth in Indonesia.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Lead all legal matters for the Indonesian business and serve as trusted adviser to local management
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts; advise on commercial, corporate, employment, compliance, and dispute matters
  • Ensure corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and entity housekeeping
  • Lead, develop, and manage the local legal team
  • Coordinate with Group Legal on material matters; manage external counsel cost-effectively
  • Improve legal processes and reporting

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Law degree from a recognized university
  • Significant in-house and/or private practice experience in law
  • Strong background in commercial contracting, corporate matters, disputes, and risk management
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, with strong English communication skills
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently in a matrix organization
