Head of Maintenance Support Unit (Punta Cana)

With the opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join our MRO family and now we are looking for the experienced Head of Maintenance Support Unit. This role is essential in ensuring FAA-compliant support for aircraft maintenance operations, including tooling, materials, and equipment management.

YOUR TASKS:

• Lead maintenance support operations: forecasting, supply, accounting, and control of tools, materials, and equipment;
• Ensure compliance with FAA and IDAC regulations  in all tooling and equipment usage, calibration, and documentation;
• Organize and supervise tooling warehousing, ensuring availability, traceability, and efficient use of technical resources;
• Maintain accurate inventory and support the production of non-standard equipment;
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and labor regulations;
• Manage and develop the tooling and metrology teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high standards.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a technical or aviation environment;
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
• Spanish proficienc;
• Strong computer literacy;
• Solid understanding of aviation technical support, warehouse logistics, and FAA ADM practices;
• Knowledge of ecological, fire safety, labor, and FAA aviation regulations;
• Structured, accurate, and responsible work ethic.
