Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist (Punta Cana)

With the opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join our MRO family and now we are looking for the experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with Dominican Republic occupational health and safety regulations by developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace risk prevention programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment.

YOUR TASKS:

• Coordinate and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies in line with Dominican Republic legislation.
• Identify and mitigate workplace risks, while designing and delivering training on prevention and use of PPE.
• Lead investigations of incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective action plans.
• Organize evacuation drills, emergency response plans, and follow up on inspections from TSS or Ministry of Labor.
• Monitor safety indicators and update occupational health and emergency response plans as required.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related fields;
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
• Spanish proficiency;
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and workplace risk assessment.
• Studies or certifications in Industrial Hygiene and Safety (preferred).
• Solid technical ;”>Structured, accurate, and responsible work ethic.
