With the imminent opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join our innovative multibillion MRO family. The ideal candidates will be key contributors to our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of our operations in the Dominican Republic.
With the opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Director to lead the heavy maintenance operations in our new MRO facility in the Dominican Republic.
YOUR TASKS:
• Lead and oversee heavy maintenance operations in the new MRO facility located in Punta Cana.
• Ensure full compliance with IDAC regulations, aviation safety standards, and quality assurance systems.
• Manage and supervise maintenance teams, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, resource allocation, and operational performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 NG aircraft are performed according to approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety management systems and maintenance processes.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
• Dominican nationality.
• IDAC TMA License (Structure & Engine) with more than 6 years of validity.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including at least 4 years in leadership or management roles.
• Proven experience in heavy maintenance for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
• Type training for A320 and B737 NG (minimum 80 hours each).
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality systems.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
