Maintenance Manager

FL Technics LLC, part of Avia Solutions Group, is a GCAA-approved Part-145 Maintenance Organisation providing aircraft line maintenance services to international airline customers.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operation in Abu Dhabi.

This is a senior management position responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance operations while leading a highly skilled technical team. The successful candidate will also be expected to fulfil the responsibilities of Post Holder – Maintenance in accordance with GCAA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day maintenance operation.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop Maintenance Supervisors, Licensed Aircraft Engineers, Engineers, Technicians, and support staff.
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers.
• Work closely with Planning, Quality, Safety, Logistics, Commercial, and other departments.
• Support regulatory audits, customer audits, and authority inspections.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and operational performance.
• Support business growth and implementation of new maintenance capabilities.
• Contribute to the company's strategic objectives as a member of the management team.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance management role within a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA CAR 145 and/or EASA Part-145 requirements.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a nominated Post Holder – Maintenance.
• EASA and/or GCAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Experience with Boeing 737 NG/MAX and/or Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
• Experience within a multi-customer line maintenance environment.
• GCC/Middle East aviation experience.
