YOUR TASKS:
- Coordinate all materials required throughout aircraft maintenance projects and ensure their timely availability for Production.
- Identify optimal sourcing options for non-stock and AOG materials, considering lead times, delivery deadlines, quantities, and purchase prices.
- Create and track Purchase Orders (POs) and continuously monitor open order status.
- Track material deliveries, including Air Waybill (AWB) numbers, expected receipt dates, delivery status, and any changes affecting project timelines.
- Maintain and continuously update Material Request Reports and project killer lists.
- Work closely with Team Leaders, Bay Managers, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to quickly resolve material-related issues.
- Source and purchase aircraft components and services, as well as coordinate component repairs and exchange orders when required.
- Monitor critical material requirements and provide sourcing and availability information to mechanics, Production Planners, and Supply Chain Buyers.
- Monitor actual material costs against estimated project targets and historical consumption.
- Coordinate rechargeable materials with Production and support the optimization of material usage throughout the project.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) required for project invoicing.
- Coordinate material-related matters with customer representatives and support customer ERP systems when required.
- Manage and monitor customer on-site stock and support the resolution of blocked, quarantined, or problematic inventory.
- Monitor material returns and work with Production to reduce unnecessary returns.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with FL Technics procedures and applicable aviation requirements.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Material Management, or Logistics.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent operational requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in the aviation, MRO, aircraft maintenance, or aerospace industry will be considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
