FL Technics lands 2 new clients from Lufthansa Group: Germanwings and Swiss International Air Lines

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced signing agreements with 2 Lufthansa Group carriers – Germanwings and Swiss International Air Lines.

FL Technics has signed a contract with Germanwings for the provision of base maintenance services. The contract with the European carrier is an anticipated result after having launched new base maintenance management practice bringing FL Technics production services to the next quality level. The first 3 out of 5 aircraft have already landed for C- and D-checks. Germanwings GmbH is a German low-cost airline based in Cologne. The carrier operates a fleet of 45 Airbus A319/320 aircraft. It is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Group.

Another prominent Lufthansa Group carrier to have recently signed a cooperation agreement with FL Technics is Swiss International Air Lines. The 5-year-long agreement covers base maintenance, engineering and DOA services. Its first aircraft has already arrived at FL Technics for a window frame replacement.

“Industry-wide, Airbus 320 aircraft are known to be vulnerable to such structural defects. Luckily, our engineers and technicians are experienced in dealing with these types of repairs,” said Zilvinas Lapinskas, CEO at FL Technics. Swiss International Air Lines is a Swiss carrier which serves over 100 destinations in 43 countries from Zurich and Geneva. It operates a fleet of 91 aircraft. Swiss International Air Lines is also a part of the Lufthansa Group.

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced signing a cooperation agreement with an independent global engineering enterprise Field International Ltd. Under the terms of this agreement, FL Technics shall act as an exclusive representative of Field International Ltd across multiple markets in Eastern Europe and Africa.

FL Technics will exclusively distribute a wide array of Field International Ltd products and services in Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Latvia, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Afghanistan and almost the entire African continent.

According to its International Managing Director Richard Marples, Field International Ltd is convinced that the cooperation with FL Technics will enable airlines in Eastern Europe and Africa to benefit from world class tooling solutions for Boeing aircraft and its intellectual property tools for Airbus. “Together with FL Technics we are looking forward to offering customized tools that meet operator specific requirements,” says Richard.

FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced having signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Flitetec, an aircraft interior plastics manufacturer. As per contract, FL Technics shall represent the UK-based company in 21 countries across Central, Eastern Europe and the CIS.

As the sole representative of Flitetec in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuanian, Moldova, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Czech Republic, FL Technics will provide operators and MROs with quality non-structural vacuum formed plastic mouldings and assemblies for passenger and crew seats, covers, work stations, interiors screens, panels, etc.

“We already see an interest in Flitetec production from our long-standing partners and clients. Current backlog for aircraft seating from the various manufacturers is close to an all-time high, thus the need for alternative quality

FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, is delighted to share having started cooperation with Moldavian carrier Fly One. The MRO will support airline’s Airbus A320 fleet with variety of engineering services including CAMO.

The engineering support of FL Technics will cover AD/SB analysis, maintenance planning, reliability monitoring, utilization control, engine condition monitoring, orders preparation, flight data analysis, as well as continuing airworthiness of the fleet and other engineering support under its Part M approval. Fly One currently operates a fleet of 3 Airbus A320 with a near-future plan to increase the fleet.

FL Technics Indonesia signs first base maintenance deal with Tri-M.G.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Indonesia has recently granted FL Technics Indonesian branch, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, with base maintenance approval AMO-145. Immediately after the approval, FL Technics Indonesia has announced signing C-check agreement for Tri-M.G.’s Boeing 737 CL.

The recently received AMO-145 base maintenance approval allows FL Technics to provide full base maintenance service package for all Indonesia-registered clients owning Boeing type aircraft. The approval was instantly followed by the base maintenance deal to provide C-check for the Indonesian cargo airline Tri-M.G. Based in Jakarta, air carrier operates a fleet of 5 Boeing 737-300s and 1 Hawker 400/Beechcraft 400.

“We are extremely happy to welcome first C-check client Tri-M.G at our Indonesian hangar. Expanding service scope overseas is yet another proof of our exceptional service quality and expectations-exceeding client service. To fully utilize the equipment which has been granted an investment of €4 million and further expansion strategy we plan to enlarge technical staff to more than 200 employees until the end of the year in Indonesia,” comments Martynas Grigalavicius, CEO of FL Technics Indonesia.

Repair and maintenance activities of Trig-M.G.’s Boeing 737 CL are expected to start in June. The scope of the cargo aircraft C-check work will include, but will not be limited to basic C5 inspection, corrosion prevention and control program, AD/SB compliance, SIP, etc.
FL Technics owns MRO hangars in Lithuania and Indonesia. The latter is based at the largest and busiest Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia. 15000 sq. m. facility can accommodate up to 3 narrow-body aircraft at a time.
